As an exchange student in Montana, I had several amazing experiences. It was in April 2008 that Barack Obama decided to visit the Adam Center in the University of Montana, Missoula. It got all the more exciting after I signed up to volunteer to the candidate.
Below is a picture I took….
Along with a team, I managed all the seating for the crowd. I worked non-stop from 6am to 6pm on the 5th of April. Outside the Adam Center, there was an endless line of people waiting for the doors to open. May I add that there was snow everywhere and it was bloody cold! When the doors opened, we had to control the flow of people. We were asked to seat the people in such a way that the cameras don’t find an empty spot in the audience. This concern was unnecessary since the crowd was well over what the Adam Center could host. Some 1,500 people were inside the building and I was among those standing in front of the stage.
